Partly in close co-operation with other Universities inside and outside Germany we focus on the following reasearch fields:

• Development of European metropolitan regions and industrial landscapes;

• Use of digital technology as a design instrument in landscape architecture, especially video

• Interfaces between Landscape Architecture, cultural landscape development and visual arts;
  e.g.: NEULAND SYMPOSION 2006 und 2008
• History and theory of contemporary Landscape Architecture.
  (New junior professor in Sommersemester 2010)
• Basics in Theory of Landscape Architecture and Design.
